A pod leader's work-life balance involves adjusting the time and mental capacity used for work and life outside of work. Ideally, this important approach should allow employees to complete all tasks and assignments required at work effectively while also having the energy to spend on personal interests, hobbies, family, and friends or simply relaxing.
A typical pod leader schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 5:00. Because The Inclusion Way's mission centers on providing community integration opportunities for its pod members, occasional activities are scheduled on weeknights and Saturdays for pod participation. In these instances, the Programs Manager will adjust work schedules accordingly or give the opportunity to earn overtime pay.
