HR & Payroll Advisor

The HR & Payroll Advisor (HRPA) is a vital member of a dedicated service team and plays a pivotal role in ensuring clients satisfaction for the team's assigned book of clients. The HRPA is responsible for providing exceptional HR and payroll consultative support, promoting the value of self-service utilization, promptly resolves issues, ensures transactional excellence, and provides oversight to ensure processing accuracy and consistency. The HRPA is the heartbeat and lifeline of day-to-day interactions with clients.

  • Payroll & HR Consultative Support: In our daily operations, we focus on providing comprehensive guidance and support to clients in navigating payroll and HR-related matters. This involves offering expert advice tailored to their unique needs and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Additionally, we collaborate closely with clients to strategize HR solutions that can enhance their operations and address specific challenges they may be facing.
  • Self-Service Utilization: A key aspect of our role is empowering clients to leverage self-service features effectively for their payroll and HR processes. We guide them through the functionalities and benefits of self-service tools, emphasizing the advantages of streamlined processes and increased efficiency. By analyzing utilization trends, we identify opportunities for optimization and provide recommendations to enhance their experience further.
  • Issue Resolution: Addressing and resolving client inquiries and issues in a timely manner is a top priority for us. When clients encounter challenges with their payroll or HR processes, we collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and find effective solutions. Additionally, we proactively work to mitigate any accounts receivable risk or NSF occurrences, safeguarding the financial interests of our clients while upholding service excellence.
  • Transactional Excellence: Our commitment to excellence extends to the accurate and efficient execution of HR and payroll transactions. We meticulously review and validate each transaction to minimize errors and rework, continuously refining our processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Timely & Responsive: Being responsive to client inquiries and requests is fundamental to our client-centric approach. We aim to address client needs within a four-hour timeframe, providing regular updates on the progress of issue resolution. By proactively communicating any potential delays or challenges, we maintain open lines of communication and build trust with our clients.
  • Accuracy Oversight: Maintaining processing accuracy and consistency is paramount in our day-to-day operations. We employ rigorous oversight measures to validate data inputs, troubleshoot discrepancies, and deliver precise outputs. By upholding the highest standards of accuracy, we instill confidence in our clients and ensure the integrity of their payroll and HR processes.

The base compensation for this position is $20.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Experience
    • Prior experience in HR and payroll roles, preferably in a consultative capacity.
    • Strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and HR regulations.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute HR and payroll transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Prior proven experience being responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll and HR transactions.
    • Proficient and a quick learner of HRIS systems; Prism is a plus.
    • Experience in managing objections, addressing concerns, and ensuring successful adoption of new processes or tools.
  • Technology and Process-Improvement Advocate: Leverages passion for efficiency and proficiency in technology to shepherding clients to valuing and utilizing self-service tools and functionalities.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical ability to diagnose issues, provide effective solutions, and collaborate for resolutions.
  • Transactional Efficiency: Proficiency in executing HR and payroll transactions accurately and efficientlyDetailed Proactive approach to addressing client needs promptly and maintaining timely communication.
  • Thorough and detail-oriented: Commitment to providing oversight for processing accuracy and consistency, maintaining precise data inputs and troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Change Management: Proficient in managing objections and providing consultative guidance on change management topics, fostering smooth transitions and adoption.
  • Ability to handle a constant flow of tasks and responsibilities without feeling overwhelmed. It's about embracing change and uncertainty, being quick to adapt, and maintaining a high level of productivity under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should not just cope but excel in this environment, contributing to the team's success by effectively managing the fast-paced nature of the work and turning it into an opportunity for growth and achievement.
