This is a remote position.
Paradigm is seeking a Financial Analyst for our client's marketing services and solutions business. This role will handle moderately complex financial analysis that is either transactional or analytical, and establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met. The role requires excellent analytical and numerical skills to process monthly working files, prepare financial reports and keep accurate records, participate in financial audits, and manage and update confidential data. Candidates must possess an understanding of accounting processes and principles coupled with solid communication and teamwork skills.
Type: 23 month contract
Location: Remote (preference given to candidates in Colorado, Mountain Time Zone)

As the Financial Analyst, you will:
- Process monthly working files for invoice submissions
- Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Participate in financial audits
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior leadership
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Keep accurate records for all fleet and financial decisions
- Apply excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Hold strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- Use financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc. to synthesize large quantities of data into actionable information
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- First level university degree with a focus on business or economics recommended or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Advanced Access Database skills
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc
