Systems Engineer - Solutions Architect

Role Overview:

As a Systems Engineer and Solutions Architect, you will lead the charge in establishing, troubleshooting, and maintaining both the Iserv and Customer Hybrid Cloud environments and Iserv networks. Your mission will be to craft configurations, design cutting-edge systems, and configure Managed Services, all geared towards elevating business efficiency for our clients and customers. Your passion for automation will shine as you set and enhance configuration standards, improve infrastructure, implement best practices, and ensure a rock-solid, secure computing environment. Dive into the exciting realm of Microsoft Cloud and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Azure, on-premises hypervisor deployments using VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovatively design, execute, and support seamless migrations from on-premises environments to the Azure platform.
• Craft, implement, and support ingenious solutions that meet stringent business continuity requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system diagrams, documentation, operational run books, and automation routines.
• Develop and execute meticulous test plans to optimize infrastructure and system performance.
• Lead the charge in defining blueprint and strategic roadmap designs for pivotal business technology initiatives.
• Champion the enforcement of policies for standardizing systems across the organization.
• Spearhead the implementation of robust local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data networks.
• Collaborate actively in pre-sales engagements and customer calls, translating intricate technical problems into elegant solutions.
• Showcase your leadership as a subject matter expert, actively participating in ongoing client architectural review processes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Hold certifications as a Certified Azure Administrator and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Possess certifications and practical experience in managing on-premises physical and virtual environments.
• Demonstrate real-world proficiency in Azure components such as Compute, Storage, Networking, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Showcase proven expertise in designing solutions involving Identity and Access Management Solutions, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Leverage your experience to deliver value through Azure Automation, PowerShell, or similar orchestration tools.
• Exhibit the ability to implement comprehensive system management and monitoring using tools such as Azure Monitor, Zabbix, and more.
• Display familiarity with architectural specifications and communication networks.
• Boast strong communication skills, exceptional troubleshooting acumen, and critical thinking prowess.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring nothing escapes your vigilant gaze.
• Have prior experience with security frameworks such as SOC2 and HIPAA.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Excel both independently and as a collaborative team player.

Priority will be given to candidates with Azure, MS, and Security Certifications.
