Job Description

Qualifications

Communication and interpersonal skills are a must
3-5 years of experience in crane operation on similar projects
CCO Certification
Commercial Driver’s License required
Lifting and carrying material and objects up to 50 lbs
Ability to pass a Pre-employment Drug test is required
Local 428 member

Responsibilities

Performing tasks involving physical labor on construction sites
General cleanup of the site
Unloading, handling and stockpiling material
Build and position forms for pouring concrete and dismantle forms
Tend Machines, pumps, compressors, and generators
Other duties as assigned
Knowledgeable in OSHA standards
Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors
Ability to work alone and unsupervised
Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-power tools
Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize

Harry Baker started Southwest Industrial Rigging in the mid-eighties with a single crane working in Casa Grande, Arizona. Over the following 30 years, the company continued to grow and eventually moved from Casa Grande, AZ to Phoenix, AZ. We now have four locations in Arizona including Flagstaff, Tucson, and two offices in Phoenix, AZ.
