Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for a qualified Orthodontic Assistant to work inDalton, GA,for a dental and orthodontic practice. Must have a minimum of 6 months of Orthodontic Assistant experience.

Our client provides dental practice management services to over 120+ supported offices across the country. Their mission is to create a world of happy, healthy smiles by providing high-quality dental care in a fun, compassionate environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate records of patients' oral health histories and treatment progress.
• Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
• Keeping patients’ mouths dry during orthodontic procedures by using a suction hose as needed.
• Taking intraoral X-rays of patients’ mouths.
• Taking photographs of patients’ teeth to aid the Orthodontist in developing treatment plans and documenting patient progress.
• Taking dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and retainers.
• Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands.
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• X-Ray Certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum of 6 months of Orthodontic Assistant experience required

Job Details:

• Schedule: M,T,W,TH 7:45 AM to 5PM
• Salary-starting at $19/hour (based on experience) plus benefits
