Supervising Nurse

About the Role:
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Nurse Manager or Director in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services. Your responsibilities will include managing and coordinating unit activities, supervising caregivers, interpreting policies and procedures, and maintaining clinical competence to support the unit when necessary. Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with exceptions for CSs employed prior to 1/1/17, who must obtain a BSN within three years.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• ANCC recognized specialty certification upon hire or within one year (for CSs hired prior to February 16, 2022).
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital OR.
• Minimum of one year of Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
