Value Based Care Clerk

CareSTL Health is seeking a Value-Based Care Clerk. The Value-Based Care Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and data entry support to the Value-Based Care team to assist with and facilitate progress toward CareSTL Health's goals.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Value Based Care Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and data entry support to the Value Based Care team to assist with and facilitate progress toward CareSTL Health's goals. The clerk is a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to our value based care initiatives. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Value Based Care Data Entry Clerk.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Value Based Care Analyst may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
- Enter and maintain data related to value based care initiatives in the electronic health record and reporting systems including patient enrollment.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data records by reviewing and verifying information.
- Communicate with team members to resolve any data discrepancies or issues.
- Compile and generate reports based on collected data as requested.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance data entry efficiency and accuracy.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data transfer and integration.
- Performs general support activities and carries out special projects as required
- Adheres to the corporate values and the policies and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High school graduate or General Equivalency Diploma required
- Associates Degree preferred
Experience:
- 2-4 years related experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or a similar role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using data entry software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Must have good interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of value based care initiatives and healthcare terminology is a plus.
- Must have good knowledge of the MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to type accurately at least 45 WPM
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions

Additional Eligibility Qualifications (licenses, programs, certificates, pre-employment check and post and annual screening(s).
- Copy of High School Diploma or GED
- Annual PPD Screening questionnaire and subsequent recommendations
Additional Information:
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- 11 paid holidays per year.
