Job Description:
Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Unit Clerk/MHT for a patient unit. The position primarily works Monday-Friday, dayshift.
Job Duties:
  • Administrative/clerical duties to support the day-to-day functions of the unit
  • Provide basic ADL care and safety monitoring for patients
  • Manages all phone communications in a positive professional manner
  • Assures the unit is well organized, neat, clean and tidy
  • Files, secures forms, keeps logs, calendars, tracks data, completes reports as requested/needed

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or GED/equivalent
  • One year of psych experience preferred
  • One year of clerical/administrative experience
