Physician, Neurology Olean General Hospital
MEDICAL DIRECTOR, STROKE - Olean, NY at Olean General Hospital
Olean General Hospital has an opening for the Medical Director of Stroke. We are a community hospital located 70 miles south of Buffalo, NY; part of the Kaleida Health System.
The ideal candidate would practice General Neurology and Stroke.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates and provides direction for stroke care at Olean General Hospital and oversees the systems and programs that are involved in the implementation and ongoing improvement of evidenced-based stroke care.
  • Provides leadership and drives program development to maintain Primary Stroke Center accreditation.
  • Coordinates and provides direction to the facility's stroke care team including communication and coordination with the medical staff, nursing and others as appropriate
  • Acts as a resource with regulatory agencies and makes recommendations for compliance and maintains mandatory documentation as required.
  • Duties include direct in-patient consultation services and outpatient care
