Job description

MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Director that is licensed as a psychologist to join our team at Torrance State Hospital located in Torrance, Pennsylvania.

This leadership position is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluation of all treatment and therapeutic programs for the Sexual Responsibility and Treatment Program (SRTP). Incumbent will ensure sex offense specific clinical protocols and therapies are consistent with the applicable policies, procedures and regulations. The position requires that programs be conducted in a cost effective and safe, secure manner.  

  • Doctoral degree in psychology or related human services field or a licensed Masters level psychologist
  • Licensed or license eligible in Pennsylvania as a psychologist.
  • Five years progressively responsible experience in providing clinical services in a psychiatric facility or mental health agency with 3 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary program or services at the supervisory level  
  • Two years’ experience in provision of a sex offender specific treatment required
  • Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral treatment methods, sex offender treatment methods and mental health theories, concepts and methods related to treatment
  • Ability to supervise staff, assign and coordinate work activities and monitor staff performance
