Plant Maintenance Technician:

Summary

The Maintenance Technician works in a team environment on a variety of machines, work centers and production lines based on training, skills and experience. The Maintenance Technician is supported by a crew of co-workers engaged in the production process and will ensure the smooth coordination of the team effort in reaching objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Maintain and repair a variety of machines and systems used in the production of corrugated paper boxes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work center that meets company 5S standards.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years experience in the maintenance and repair in one of or all of the following types of machines or similar is highly desired, but not required.
  • Folder-Gluer
  • Platen Diecutter
  • Flexo Folder-Gluer
  • Rotary Diecutter
• Highest level of detail, organization, and accuracy skills
• Must be disciplined, flexible results-oriented and decisive with a “can do” attitude
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with changing demands.
• Electrical troubleshooting of 3 phase motors and controls.
• Experience and knowledge working with PLC’s is highly desired.
• Understanding of and experience with basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Millwright mechanical and fabrication skills.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents: Operating Manual, Safety Guidelines, Procedure Manuals.
• Must have basic personal computer skills

Education

• High school Diploma or GED.

Pay: $28.00/hr to $35.00hr Depending on Experience and Skills

Shift: Monday - Friday Swing shift 2-11pm (with flexibility)
