Job Duties:

· Perform in-house repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including light-duty trucks, medium-duty trucks, and heavy-duty trucks (Class A & B semi’s).

· Conduct preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fuel filter changes, coolant flushes, transmission flushes, power steering fluid flushes, air filter replacements, brake fluid flushes, differential services, tire maintenance, brake system inspections and replacements, and more.

· Handle welding and fabrication tasks, including truck bed conversions, customizations, and repairs.

· Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including lights, marker lights, and all standard operable electrical and lighting systems on vehicles.

· Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicle and trailer hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, DEF systems, and internal engine components.

· Work closely with management during specific repairs and follow documentation procedures, including completing work orders and monitoring time spent on jobs.

· Source and order necessary parts for repairs through various suppliers, including Factory Motor Parts, Ford, GM, Dodge, International, Kenworth, Napa, and other local and national facilities.

Job Requirements:

·       Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic, with a focus on auto maintenance.

·       Valid driver's license.

·       Proficient in using own tools.

·       Welding and fabrication skills for customizations and repairs.

·       Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and independently.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Familiarity with industry standards and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

Schedule:

- 8-hour shift

- Monday to Friday

- No nights; weekends as needed
