FLORIDA (Hudson) - Medical Technologist
Job Summary:
Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will Conduct a wide range of complex laboratory tests on patient samples such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. Tests may include hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.
Shift:(Night) 6:30PM - 7:00AM (Rotating Weekends)
Hourly Wage:$30 - $40 per/hour (Shift Differential Available)
Sign-On-Bonus:$10,000

Expected Tasks:
- Quality Control:Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results by performing quality control procedures, maintaining equipment, and adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Data Analysis:Analyze test results, interpret findings, and accurately report findings to physicians or other healthcare providers in a timely manner.
- Instrument Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Compliance:Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including those set forth by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other relevant regulatory agencies.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all laboratory tests performed, including patient information, test results, and quality control data.
- Collaboration:Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- 3 Years Experience (preferred)
- Valid Florida Technologist License (required).
