1st Shift Manufacturing Supervisor

Our client in Bedford PA is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for 1st shift

Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team, small department, or subgroup, providing clear direction, training, and ongoing guidance to team members.

- Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.

- Drive the achievement of business objectives within predefined parameters, including budgetary constraints and performance targets.

- Identify, track, and analyze key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the team's support towards achieving organizational goals.

- Develop and communicate comprehensive production plans, manpower requirements, and quality standards to ensure alignment with overarching objectives.

- Take ownership of the annual operating budget for your area of responsibility, managing resources effectively to optimize operational efficiency.

- Cultivate a performance
-driven culture by implementing initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, reward systems, and talent development strategies.

:

- 4 Year Degree preferred

- 1
-4 years of experience in a Manufacturing Supervisor setting

- Previous experience with performance management, employment practices, & team building

- Lean Six Sigma preferred

- Demonstrated experience of success in previous roles

- Previous Manufacturing experience.
