Patient Account Collector

Overview:

Our client, a public research university offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a wide range of disciplines, seeks an accomplished Patient Account Collector.

*** Duration: 5 months w/ possibility of extension

Description:

• Responsible for reviewing claims to ensure max collection $ by providing follow-up and documenting actions.
• Functions include managing a portfolio of accounts that are high balance, aged accounts, responding to ensure follow-up and account resolution.
• The Senior Collections Rep should assist with training other collection Rep and also be a resource to Collection Reps.

Qualifications:

• Must have ability to perform all needed duties in the patient accounting systems.
• Skilled in the usage of all Microsoft.
