Reliability Centered Maintenance Supervisor (Contingent on Contract Award) – Atlanta, GA

Summary:

This position will act as a working supervisor overseeing RCM trained HVAC technicians, electricians, and other helper trades providing maintenance and repair to large federal buildings and campuses in Atlanta, Georgia.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develops and manages Reliability Centered Maintenance programs for large federal buildings using analytical processes such as RCM, FMEA and RCFA.
• Uses predictive and condition-based monitoring technologies to assess, evaluate and provide engineering support for central energy plants in large federal buildings.
• Performs and Supervises trades and subcontractors performing non-destructive testing and analysis.
• Tracks and uses various metrics and KPI’s to evaluate maintenance program effectiveness as it relates to energy and utility conservation.
• Assures failure modes are appropriately addressed.
•   Recommends and evaluates proposed modifications.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or Engineering or Journeyman tradesperson in closely related field and a minimum of five (5) years of applicable RCM experience supervising programs and evaluating results.

 Must have experience in:

• Building automation systems, controls, valves, cooling water systems, hydraulic systems, fire suppression, HVAC and other auxiliary systems.
• Principles and practices of concepts related to reliability engineering.
• Principles and practices of statistical record keeping and reporting.
• Operations, services, and activities of a reliability engineering program.
• Principles of lead supervision and training.
• Methods and techniques of statistical, mathematical, and comparative analysis.
• Advanced methods and techniques of data collection and analysis.
• Operational characteristics of fixed rail vehicle systems.
• Principles of business letter writing and basic report preparation.
• Current office equipment including computers and supporting word processing and spreadsheet applications.
