SPECIALIST JOB SUMMARY

Experienced QuickBase developer with experience in IT with actual hands-on experience in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle, using QuickBase API and regular QuickBase interfaces, the developer shall develop and implement pages and entire QuickBase applications to their maximum potential, resulting in a functional, fully customized up-to-date end-state. The developer shall construct and implement an array of dashboards with meaningful technology specifications, illustrating business needs and changing business conditions with meaningful technology specifications to allow analysis to support decisions and to project outcomes and results of business decisions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, configure, enhance, and administer a variety of QuickBase applications.

Provide end-user support by debugging issues, answering questions about system functionality, and responding to enhancement requests.

Identify and build integrations with other business tools/applications to optimize business processes.

Build reports and dashboards for end-users and management.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop ideal business processes and automate manual work.

Breakdown ideal business processes into achievable tasks and identify development priority.

Become a subject matter expert on the development needs of the organization.

Work with other development teams to plan long-term platform goals.

Write and maintain technical training manuals for end-users as needed.

Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.

Develops technical applications to support users.

Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.

Provides staff training for system products and procedures.

Performs application upgrades.

Develop, automate, and maintain data feeds into and out of the application(s)

Continuous documentation of application configuration, customization, and integration.

Collaborate with Client QuickBase team to maintain documentation according to agency standards, procedures and policy.

Develop and maintain reports and data analysis.

Performs, monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.

Trouble shooting and resolution of technical issues.

Ensures project life cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.

Be accountable for business adoption of system capabilities.

Manage multiple projects with different business stakeholders at once.

Support Program Manager in driving product and program launch activities to meet or exceed project timing milestones.

Develop custom forms and pages and workflow designs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or related field or 6 or more years of equivalent experience

Programming experience

Code documentation experience.

In-depth understanding of database administration

5+ years working with QuickBase application design and development.

C, C++, and/or Scheme, Prolog experience

Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Ruby, Bash, Shell and/or PHP experience

HTML, and DHTL experience

SQL Experience

XML/XSL Experience

NodeJS Experience

Custom form/page/workflow design and development

 Amazon Web Services

 MS Excel/Access/Google Apps

 Aspen SIS front end development

Experience working with DSAM tracking system.

Windows Server, UNIX Solaris/BSD/AIX experience

MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle experience

Process Automation, ETL, Documentation, Recursive Algorithms, Strong Problem Solving, and the strong grasp of programming concepts.

Excellent oral and writing skills.

Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline orientated work environment.

Accuracy and attention to detail; Excellent organizational skills

Covid19 Vaccinated

PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Project management experience preferred.

Salesforce experience preferred.

Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau.
