Duties:

• Meet or exceed consistent daily and weekly output and quality goals.
• Read and interpret work orders and quality specs.
• Adhere to all Safety procedures relevant to role
• Work with Production Supervisor, Line Leads, and Education and Training Manager to develop and continuously improve as a Professional Sewing Specialist concerning method, throughput, and execution.
• Perform in-process inspections, troubleshoot, and make machine adjustments to assure production of high-quality products
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and always maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Self-starter, self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Maintain and grow base knowledge of the sewn trades and relative emerging movements
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sewing machine operator; Industrial sewing experience preferred.
• Experience operating sewing machines such as: single needle, coverstitch and serger
• Must be able to change needles, and thread machines
• Ability to read, write and speak Basic English
• Basic math skills with the ability to use a calculator
• Computer Skills- ability to perform basic data entry may be required
