Position Title: Senior Staff Auditor

Reports To: Senior Manager

Department: Audit 

Location: Westwood


Your Role: NKSFB, LLC and NKSF, LLP is one of Los Angeles’ largest accounting firms dedicated to the entertainment industry. NKSF, the CPA firm, specializes in forensic and compliance accounting services often focusing on the entertainment industry and business dispute resolution.

 

The audit work conducted by NKSF lies at a unique intersection of entertainment and accounting.  Those who have interest in the entertainment industry will find plenty of exposure to entertainment accounting and law as well as opportunities to develop connections with people in Entertainment.

What Will You Do?


  • Perform compliance or forensic audit procedures in accordance with your level of experience.
  • Supervision of Staff on an on-going basis on multiple projects.
  • Proactively maintain contact with the audit contacts
  • Handle computer processing and analysis
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in audit/accounting techniques, procedures and judgment through completion of final project.
  • Responsible for keeping manager and/or partner-in-charge informed of audit progress and/or issues.
  • Maintains on-going client contacts and relationships.
  • Develop people through effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to staff
  • Provide performance feedback and training
  • Meets deadlines and budgets.
  • Has thorough computer knowledge.
  • Establishes and implements priorities of all projects to completion.
  • Knowledge of accounting/audit updates.
  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management of specific department.
  • Travel as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years degree in accounting preferred or the equivalent classes to sit for the CPA exam.
  • 2+ at least years experience in compliance audits or an accounting department in the entertainment industry.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Access knowledge preferred.


    Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
