Operations Manager

Coronado Stone Products has been a nationally recognized leader in manufacturing stone products across the US for over 65 years. We manufacture and distribute high quality stone veneer products from factories conveniently located across the United States.

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at our Phoenix plant to serve as a mentor for our business, train our employees and grow our manufacturing operations. This position has overall responsibility for safety, quality, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics and will work closely with our Sales and Customer Service Teams to satisfy our customers.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and engaging Operations Manager. A working knowledge of concrete based materials manufacturing is extremely helpful.

Experience and Job Requirements

A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a production facility is required.

Previous experience with the manufacturing of stone veneer or similar pre-cast colored concrete building products is highly preferred.

Strong leadership skills collaborating with a diverse workforce. Ability to communicate and motivate.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a positive asset but not mandatory.

Manage overall operations including production, quality, safety, maintenance, shipping, scheduling, planning, purchasing, and Human Resource issues.

Oversee the planning of production meetings, worker schedules, production activities, equipment maintenance plans and product quality.

Responsible for budget control of direct and indirect expenses.

Observe, enforce, and maintain records of the effective training and consistent execution of safety rules and standards per Arizona OSHA Guidelines.

Manage work priorities and the allocation of resources to meet the assigned timelines and goals.

Manage and maintain records of the training and cross training of staff.

Review the overall performance and identify training necessities of production personnel.

This is a “Hands-On” (and in the plant) position, requiring the individual to be able to perform all duties for effective long-term training of our employees.
