Job description

Day Shift Production Worker - Manufactured Stone Pouring Department
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Facility: Sugarcreek - Cherry Ridge Manufactured Stone Facility
Department: Pouring Department
Pay Rate: Hourly with opportunity to earn incentive pay
Hours: Monday- Thursday 6:00am starting time
Job Summary
This Day Shift position ensures the exceptional creation and packaging of manufactured stone for ProVia’s Cherry Ridge facility. Employees are expected to uphold and represent ProVia’s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.
Job Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Set up the workstation by retrieving the colors needed for the day from the Quality Control Area
• Scraping Molds to have all cavities filled with concrete
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
• Notify leadership at the plant of deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Practice personal safety and comply with all safety practices and procedures.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department quotas.
• Other duties as assigned.
Physical Job Requirements
Include but are not limited to the following:
• This position requires the team member to stand for extended periods to perform the assigned duties.
• When performing the mandatory cleaning at the end of the shift, the team member will bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl under the lines to clean the excess concrete from the equipment, sweep, remove excess concrete from the floor by using shovels, scrapers, brooms, squeegees, among other heavy tools and operate a power washer to remove final debris from the floor.

Include but are not limited to the following:
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to maintain a positive attitude, take direction, and follow through on all assigned tasks.
• Excellent time management skills to carry out the daily checklist.
