Job description

While working safely, the Doffer's main responsibility is doffing rolls of fabric in a manner to prevent damage to fabric and assure proper roll up of fabric. The Doffer will follow all standard procedures while doffing cloth, maintain the doff staging area, verify roll identification, sort rolls of fabric according to the next step in processing. The Doffer will complete all paperwork and Barco entry necessary for the Doffer job. Doffers will plan and prioritize their job responsibilities. This job also includes housekeeping, cleaning and floor maintenance in the Doffer area.
Scope of Responsibilities:
  1. TPM all material handling equipment
  2. Authority to stop a loom when the quality of fabric is questionable
  3. Maintain housekeeping in all areas of responsibility
