Description:As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Shine Pediatric Therapy, you will play a vital role in assisting our licensed occupational therapists in delivering high-quality therapy services to pediatric clients. You'll work closely with children of varying ages and abilities, implementing therapeutic activities and strategies to promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric patients under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to help children develop essential skills for daily living, play, and learning.
- Collaborate with the therapy team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual perception, coordination, and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment sessions, and goals achieved.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans, progress updates, and home-based activities.
- Participate in team meetings, case management, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in [State]
