Position Description:

We're seeking a candidate to join our team at an Army Project Office situated at Redstone Arsenal, AL, supporting the testing of Air Defense System of Systems (SoS). The role involves collaborating closely with the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office within the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) to coordinate and execute test planning and documentation efforts.

Responsibilities include contributing to the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development by compiling and organizing all relevant inputs, drafting outlines, establishing timelines, managing approvals, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will assist in updating the Simplified Acquisition Management Plan (SAMP), integrating Test and Evaluation (T&E) information, and coordinating feedback from various Army units and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).

The role also entails collaborating with System Engineering to develop and maintain Developmental Evaluation Frameworks (DEF) for Sensor, Launcher, and Network Interfaces, ensuring a coherent strategy for testing and evaluation. Quarterly Test and Evaluation Working-Level Integrated Product Teams (T&E WIPTs) and other stakeholder meetings will be organized and facilitated by the candidate, including agenda preparation, coordination of briefings, minute-taking, and tracking action items.

This position demands strong self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment. Attention to detail is paramount, as is familiarity with T&E policies and DOD 5000 procedures. Furthermore, the candidate will support various test activities, including documentation, execution, and reporting for multiple Army systems, necessitating travel to DoD Test Ranges and flexibility in work hours during testing periods.

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience in test planning and execution support
  • Desired experience with RAM Warn, AMDPCS, FAAD C2, AMDWS, and Army Air Defense Systems such as Patriot, LTAMDS, and IBCS
  • Experience with fielded and developmental systems testing preferred
  • Qualification testing experience desirable
  • Willingness to travel to DoD Test Ranges
  • Flexible work schedule during test execution periods
  • Reside within commuting distance of Huntsville, AL, or willing to relocate

Security Requirements:

  • Must hold and maintain a Secret security clearance.
