Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Billing Manager to oversee our billing team and ensure the timely and accurate processing of medical claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the billing process, including coding, claims submission, payment posting, and collections. Additionally, the Medical Billing Manager will work closely with the Practice Administrator to stay ahead of new policies and requirements, optimize revenue cycle management, and identify areas for process improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing department, including staff supervision, training, and performance management.
• Ensure the accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and other third-party payers.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure prompt payment.
• Review coding practices to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maximize reimbursement.
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and billing requirements to ensure compliance and minimize denials.
• Analyze billing data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the billing department.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of [2] years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, with a focus on pain management or related specialty.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of E-Clinical Works.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership skills and experience managing a team of billing professionals.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
