Sr. Controls Software Engineer
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM some Saturday's (when needed)
$40+ an hour with benefits

Aegis Worldwide is hiring for a Controls Software Engineer near Utica, MI! You will be responsible for automated controls system design, completing the design of systems, support installation and more!

Responsibilities:

• Design, write, test, implement and document PLC and HMI software.
• Support installation, commissioning and production support of the systems.
• Complete the designs of complex systems that integrate both hardware and software controls elements.
• Assist in the development of company standards to ensure consistency in project execution.
• Must be able to travel within the continental US, Canada and Mexico (estimated 30%).

Requirements:

• Prefer an Associate degree in electrical technology, manufacturing or a related field, AND at least three years of related experience.
• Requires at least two years of experience managing multiple projects.
• Requires at least three years of PLC programming experience. Siemens and Allen Bradley knowledge preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power and distribution systems
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project
• Experience in C# Programming language is preferred
