Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper, with manufacturing experience, who

will report directly to the VP of Finance. Responsibilities include overseeing AR clerk in the

preparation of invoicing and cash receipts; managing all Accounts Payable transactions,

reconciling purchase orders to AP invoices; assist in time balancing as needed; process payroll as

needed; reconciling and payment of credit card transactions. You will also be expected to maintain

the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Manage and maintain accounts payable records

 Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy

 Assist in time-balancing and processing payroll

 Track taxable purchased items for quarterly sales tax preparation

 Prepare journal entries as needed

 Oversee accounts receivable personnel and accounts receivable transactions for

accuracy

 Correct receiving transactions if needed to ensure accuracy of financial data

 Assist VP of Finance with other accounting data as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

 Minimum of 5 year's experience in bookkeeping or accounting in a manufacturing

environment

 Proficiency in accounting software (Global Shop Solutions experience a plus)

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, while overseeing

Accounts Receivable Clerk

 Experience in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

 Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations

 Attention to detail and accuracy, and maintain confidentiality in the accounting

department

 Ability to analyze financial data for accuracy
