RN MDS Coordinator
Compensation: Up to $85k per year

Title: MDS Coordinator
Location: Honolulu, HI
RN MDS Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Ensure the completion of all MDS assessments and required documents are completed and compliant
- Create a schedule for all Medicare and Medicaid.
- Start Medicare coverage for newly qualified patients or send out denial letters.
- Updated on changes in Medicare coverage and help determine documents needed for Medicaid reimbursement.
- Ensure that all medical records are fully completed and accurate
- Assists DON, ADON, social Services, and Administrator in developing and implementing patient care plans
RN MDS Coordinator Requirements:
- BSN from an accredited school
- Hawaii State RN license
- CPR/BLS and First Aid Certification
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of MDS experience and patient-driven payment models (PDPM) experience
- Minimum 3 years of charge nurse in a Long Term Care setting; preferred
- Knowledgeable in CMS guidelines
