Job Title: Medical Assistant/Receptionist

Position Overview: Advanced Bodyworks Physical Medicine is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic by managing administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, and assisting physicians in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate personnel.
Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining the appointment calendar.
Greeting patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures.
Assisting physicians during patient examinations and treatments as needed.
Providing billing assistance, including processing payments and insurance claims.
Managing laundry services to ensure clean linens and uniforms are available.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
Previous experience in a medical office setting is highly desirable.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with medical billing software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation: Pay is commensurate with experience.
