Valley City, OH - Concrete Factory Production Associate

Want to get certified in operating cranes, forklifts, welding or a CDL License? You can do that at this employer, as well! Upward mobility and internal promotions exist at this employer!
Progressive Pay Scale Based on Experience.
$17/hr to start, over $20/hr after 45 days with more room for growth as you progress!
Overtime Available – 5-10 hours per week at 1.5x!
Quarterly and Yearly attendance bonus - get paid for being reliable!
Profit Sharing – approx. $300-400 per month!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality precast concrete in accordance with specifications.
- Stripping and setting up concrete forms.
- Reading shop drawings and/or prints.
- Maintain clean and safe work area (5S).
- Will operate forklifts, bridge/gantry cranes, and production equipment as required.
- Complete daily preventative maintenance tasks as assigned, including tool maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Knowledge of concrete forming
- Ability to read shop drawings and or blueprints
- Heavy equipment operation
Physical Strain:
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on occasion
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to squat, crawl and kneel to complete tasks
Work Environment
- The work areas are partly climate controlled. Ambient temperatures and humidity will be the norm inside and out.
- Due to the nature of the operation, the levels of noise, dust, and dirt can be very high.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to operate/learn how to operate power tools safely, accurately and efficiently.
- Ability/desire to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes.
