Heavy Civil Excavation Foreman

This is a working foreman position. You'll be doing the same work as the crew you lead.
This is a safety sensitive position.
***This position is located in Little Rock, AR***
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a laborers/crew.
- Continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Responsible for crew safety and establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program.
- Perform various tasks at job site with equipment provided.
- Complete and approve weekly timecard related to assigned job.
- Meet job completion deadlines.
- Produce a high quality of work.
- Maintain a good attendance record.
- Observe Company policies and procedures.
- Observe Company safety rules and regulations.
- Present a positive attitude about the Company and the job and maintains professional relationship with Owner.
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledgeable in the areas of dirt work, including excavation, grade work, surveying, and final excavating work.
- Experienced using all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
- Ability to read plans.
- Good communication skills.
- Team Player.
- Previous experience directing other employees and organizing work.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that are typically associated with a construction project.
- Employee regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
- Work may involve a variety of substances commonly found on construction sites such as form oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel and ready mixed concrete.
