Summary:

We are seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to ensure a seamless flow of parts supply to our plants while optimizing costs. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supplier development and technical assistance missions, requiring a tailored approach to address each unique situation effectively.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supplier capacity and investment requests.
  • Foster active engagement with suppliers and supply chains.
  • Identify and address supplier weaknesses promptly.
  • Monitor and mitigate high-risk supplier development issues.
  • Develop and implement problem-solving techniques for supplier faults.
  • Enhance and optimize supplier production systems and processes.
  • Drive operational excellence among suppliers.
  • Prioritize tasks to achieve objectives effectively.
  • Adhere to established processes and the Code of Conduct.
  • Represent the company at supplier sites and escalate issues as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

  • University degree in engineering, business management, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain, quality, and development, with a preference for automotive or heavy commercial truck industry experience.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
  • Strong accountability and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Dedication to meeting both external and internal customer expectations.
  • Desire to work collaboratively towards shared goals.
  • Strong integrity and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel at short notice.
