Job Description
Position Summary
Under direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Clinical Operations will provide expertise and management skills for direct implementation of Clinical Operation plans into efficient, economical, quality services at various healthcare facilities. Responsible for directing standards and compliance functions. This position is multifaceted requiring a diverse set of management and organizational skills, as well as clinical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations. Monitor quality and processes of patient care.
- Implement programs that achieve the quality of care goals of C2 Wellness.
- Conduct audits at each facility to monitor compliance all State and Federal rules and regulations.
- Develop action plans to improve deficits; develop and monitor staffing models and staffing budgets for clinical services.
- Develop and conduct Education and Development programs for Clinical Staff that further the quality and risk management goals of the Company.
- Implement programs, policies and procedures that minimize any risk of loss from any legal actions arising from patient care programs or services.
- Independently investigate (or cause to investigate) and appropriately respond to matters related to reported or detected compliance concerns, including recommending appropriate corrective action to management and the Board.
- Achieve the stated goals for Patient Care and Quality of Services set for all locations.
- Develop an annual operating plan for Clinical Services that moves organizational units forward to accomplish long range plans.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor a program for credentialing all members of the Medical Staff.
- Outline, document, implement and monitor a comprehensive infection control program for all clinical areas.
- Plan, organize, and manage an environment of patient care at facilities that is secure, convenient, appropriate, compassionate, and is recognized by the patients and their families as the best choice for sleep care in their community.
- Assist in the establishment of the Executive Compliance Committee.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
