Your Mission:

As the IT Manager, you will be the linchpin in coordinating, planning, and leading the technology and infrastructure at CASL. You'll oversee our IT Helpdesk Specialist, ensuring that the entire organization's technology needs are not only met but exceeded. From computer hardware to software, networks, and servers, you'll ensure everything runs seamlessly and stays up-to-date.

Your Impact:

As the IT Manager you will ensure that the organization's technology needs are met, providing quality support for end-users across computer hardware, software, networks, and servers. You will work closely with directors, managers, and coordinators to address technical questions, implement solutions tailored to their technology needs, and ensure the completion of organizational goals and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate infrastructure and ensure it continues to meet organizational requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate large-scale system implementations, collaborating closely with vendors, contractors, and CASL staff to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain and optimize our network infrastructure, including WIFI, network security, switches, and routers, to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
  • Implement robust backup solutions and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Cultivate strong vendor relationships, leveraging negotiation skills to establish mutually beneficial purchasing agreements that drive cost savings for CASL.
  • Provide comprehensive client support and training, empowering our staff to leverage technology effectively in their day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record of maintaining IT architecture integrity in a dynamic organizational environment.
  • Experience with Windows Server operating system, Active Directory, and Network Security. Must have experience designing, implementing and supporting Active Directory. A solid background and understanding of the Windows operating systems and networking.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot WAN/LAN issues and be able to make system wide network changes and configurations when needed.
  • Expertise with administering Microsoft 365 and G-Suite
  • Strong project management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Expertise in networking, hardware, and software administration, with a deep understanding of IT best practices, policies, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer service centric mindset and delivery when providing support to internal clients and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Environment and Scheduling:

Work is primarily performed during agency business hours, Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on a hybrid schedule. Additional hours inclusive of weekend hours may be required to accommodate project deadlines and operational needs.
