Responsibilities:

• Prepare hookah pipes for guests, including assembling, packing, and lighting coals.
• Educate guests on different hookah flavors, styles, and smoking techniques to enhance their experience.
• Monitor hookah pipes and coals throughout the service to ensure proper functionality and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hookah lounge area, including regular cleaning of hookah equipment and accessories.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing attentive service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Uphold Maü Miami's standards for quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction in all hookah-related activities.
• Monitor inventory levels of hookah tobacco, coals, and accessories and communicate needs to management for replenishment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and sanitation guidelines related to hookah service.
• Collaborate with the bar and kitchen staff to coordinate service and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist with special events or promotions involving hookah service as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hookah service or a related hospitality role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hookah equipment, flavors, and smoking techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
