Job description

Installer - Bathroom Remodeling | Six-Figure Earning PotentialAbout Us

J. Blanton is one of the fastest-growing residential home service companies in the country, driven by our dedication to excellence and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Our mission is to become the largest and most respected home service provider within the next 10 years, targeting $500 million in company value.

As part of this growth, we've launched a fast-expanding shower remodel division focused on high-quality, design-driven bathroom transformations.

We are currently a $4 million division with a goal to reach $10 million a year.

We are a rare company in the industry where every team member-including installers-is a W-2 employee. We do not rely on subcontractors, which allows us to maintain tighter quality control, better training, and a more consistent customer experience.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Bathroom Remodeling Installer to join our growing team.

The Installer will work directly on bathroom remodeling projects and report to the Lead Installer assigned to the project. You will work as part of a professional installation team to complete projects efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential remodeling and is especially strong in finish work and tile installation. We are looking for someone who takes pride in the details and understands that the quality of the finished product is what the customer sees and remembers.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to develop your skills and take on greater responsibility as you grow with the company.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bathroom remodeling work under the direction of the Lead Installer
  • Assist with and complete demolition, framing, drywall, waterproofing, and installation work
  • Perform finish carpentry and other detailed finish work
  • Install shower wall systems.
  • Install LVP flooring and perform subfloor repairs when required.
  • Assist with plumbing installation and fixture installation.
  • Install vanities and other bathroom components.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Protect customers' homes and maintain a professional work environment.
  • Follow project plans, installation procedures, and company quality standards.
  • Work efficiently with the Lead Installer and other team members to keep projects on schedule.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
  • Identify potential issues and communicate them to the Lead Installer before they become problems.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in residential remodeling, construction, or a related trade
  • Tile installation experience strongly preferred
  • Strong finish-work skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with remodeling tools and equipment
  • Ability to follow direction from a Lead Installer and work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in tight or awkward spaces
  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional job site
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, or other trade experience is a plus.
Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in the finished product.

We're particularly interested in installers who are great finishers-people who notice the small details, produce clean work, and understand how important craftsmanship is in a customer's home.

Tile experience is a major plus, especially experience producing clean, professional-looking bathroom finishes.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with high earning potential
  • W-2 employment - no subcontracting
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Professional training and development
  • Opportunity for advancement within a rapidly growing remodeling division
  • Be part of a growing, forward-thinking company that is raising the bar in home services.
