A Big Improvement LLC is hiring a skilled and dependable Residential Construction & Remodeling Technician to join our growing team in McLean, VA. We specialize in high-quality residential remodeling and renovation projects and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, and wants long-term career growth in the construction industry.

This is a hands-on role working on a variety of residential construction and remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, framing, drywall, trim work, repairs, and custom home improvements.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute residential remodeling work (kitchens, baths, renovations)
  • Manage punch list work, time management, task prioritization, and routine workflow in a residential remodeling space
  • Help lead daily job flow and keep projects on track
  • Maintain quality, organization, and jobsite standards
  • Communicate with team and clients as needed
  • Step into full crew leadership as you prove capability
  • Work alongside fellow technicians to assist in project completion

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3+ years of residential construction or remodeling experience preferred
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and remodeling work
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in active construction environments
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
  • Proven track record of leading, and remodeling in a residential construction space
  • Interest in leadership and growth
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain quality
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
