Senior RF Engineer

Come work for GaN and solve fun challenging projects. We have existing projects with more coming in 2024. We are looking for someone that can be the lead RF Engineer and help us grow the team and expand our capabilities. Design, develop, and build RF hardware systems, and integrate components into networked fieldable systems. The team is trying new things and working on problems that others cannot solve.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will be responsible for developing innovative solutions
• Design, develop, document, test and debug solutions
• Candidate will participate in team meetings, hardware and software design reviews; technical interchange meetings, and other management meetings as needed.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related degree and 9+ years of related experience
• Experience in design and analysis of RF electronics and systems
• Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) or Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA)
• Extensive hands-on experience with lab instruments such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
• C/C++
• System Integration experience
• A desire to learn and solve problems
• Self-driven, customer focused performer

• Agile Development Experience
• Fielding Experience
• Python and QT
• Experience managing people and projects
• Xilinx Vivado and with Linux systems such as Ubuntu/Redhat, Ettus UHD and RFNoC, Analog Device’s IIO

Special Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must have a Secret clearance or be capable of obtaining an interim Secret clearance
