1st shift Mon-Fri, Sat (?) Shipping Coordinator (Metal Fab) $22-25/hr

1st shift, Shipping Coordinator Contract to hire. Room to grow. Starting pay is $22-25/hr. and will be paid out weekly.

Walk-Ins Welcome Mon-Thur 8am to 4pm, or Fri 8am to 3pm. Bring (2) forms of ID with you (Example: DL & social security card) to Sawyer Staffing 307 West Antrim Dr. Greenville 29607. This is a long term opportunity (contract to hire).

Basic Expectations for applicants: Valid DL, own reliable vehicle, clean criminal background (past 7 years), and ability to pass a drug test prior to starting work. In addition to a strong work history with the following experience. Strict attendance policy - Please only apply if you have reliable transportation and are dependable by nature. Note: You must have valid DL, own reliable vehicle, and stable job history to be considered.

Schedules: 5:30am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri. Some Saturdays Regular weekend work and overtime available once trained. A great deal for those who love overtime.

Job Summary: overseeing and coordinating the following

• Read and understand job tickets
• Receiving, inspecting, and dispatching shipments or outsourced products
• Pulling orders from inventory for fulfillment
• Packaging for distribution including shipping, delivery, or pick up
• Using MIS/shipping software to dispatch, create package labels, shipping labels, moving jobs through plant, print delivery tickets, etc.
• Maintaining inventory levels

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent attendance record and punctuality
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of USPS regulations preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the workday, excluding lunch and breaks. This is not a sedentary position.
