Crane Operator

Contractor Service and Fabrication, Inc. is looking for a certified crane operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate minimum of 40 ton crane and move materials to various locations in a safe and effective manner.
• Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect, clean, and perform operator level maintenance on equipment in accordance with standards.
• Closely interact with the foreman for movement of materials and equipment.
• Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Follow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Complete necessary documentation, reporting, and limited office duties.
• Effectively coordinate daily activities with supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of crane operation characteristics, controls, emergency skills, response to fire, power line contact, tipping, malfunction characteristics.
• Demonstrate basic abilities in reading, writing, arithmetic skills and load chart usage.
• Good communication skills.
• Certified to operate crate (minimum 40 ton).
