DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Validates all part information is correct against material requirements entered into the system.
- Works with Service Associates and buyers on part availability and alternatives.
- Receives and allocates ordered parts to the correct repair jobs.
- Bin locates pre-ordered parts jobs and jobs found to require parts after inspection.
- Lift, load, and move supplies between areas.
- Label product with identifying data, as needed.
- Works with receiving and inventory to assign parts.
- Coordinates with assembly to release jobs to be built.
- Ensures system transactions are complete prior to valves being released to assembly.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Performs other related duties other departments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience/Skills:
- 3 to 5 years' experience required in relevant industry. Specific experience with valve and/or other process instrumentation equipment preferred. Understanding of valve repair, testing, and calibration preferred.
- Oracle experience preferred.
- Experience reading prints preferred.
- Mechanical and/or Electrical experience preferred.
- Effective Oral, Verbal, and written communications skills.
COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to safely use and maintain a large variety of tools and equipment, including overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Ability to read customer specification sheets. May have to read schematic drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly manuals (IOM's).
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to work independently or as a team member.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Good communication skills.
