Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

The role of a Project Manager of Bova Corp is to oversee the overall execution of individual project. Bova Project Manager are proactive with the other managers and employee involved in the tasks of the project. The Project Manager reports to a Senior Project Manager. Specific Duties Include: • Participating in transition meetings with the Estimating Department, Engineering Department, and Manufacturing to kick off projects • Verify all Safety Information has been properly submitted for his/her project • Work directly with Estimating to create a project schedule according to estimated timelines • The Project Manager will serve as the liaison for any communication between Bova Corp and their customers • Participate in production meetings with the production managers and shop floor team leaders • Review and approval of all buy items before passing along to the Procurement team • Work with Engineering team for field dimensions needed for fabrication • Coordinate field team’s schedule and timeline to complete tasks • Work with Controller and Procurement on final close out of projects • Participate in “Lessons Learned” meetings quarterly to review all projects with management team

Work Location: In person. 7:30 – 4:00

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management or another related field
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
