Mortgage Loan Officer - New Home Builder

William Ryan Homes is one of the largest privately owned homebuilders in the country. Our focus is on quality design and construction, energy efficiency, and overall, customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to support our Dallas location. This position will be a part of, and report to, our Home Loan Express Mortgage Team. We are seeking only individuals with the drive and qualifications to build a team with a goal of generating an Annual Loan Volume of $300,000,000, with approximately $150,000,000 from the WRH New Home business and $150,000,000 from self-generated business (Refi, Realtors, Friends, and Family)

Duties and Responsibilities include

• Contact all WRH New Home Buyers to understand their financial situations and mortgage needs
• Maintain up to date knowledge of mortgage products, interest rates, and industry regulations to provide clients with the best mortgage options
• Evaluate client creditworthiness, review credit reports, and provide guidance on improving credit profiles where necessary
• Ensure all loan applications and transactions adhere to federal and state regulations and company policies
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process to provide excellent customer service
• Build network of outside business channels such as Realtor relationships, re-finance and other referrals

· Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or a related role in the mortgage industry

· Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Must be highly detail-oriented and organized

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

· Proficient in mortgage software and technology along with experience in Microsoft Office

Education/Other Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field

· Prior experience in residential homebuilding preferred

· Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license required
