Clinical Educator

The Clinical Educator is responsible for job specific training in Organ Recovery Services, Hospital Services, and Family Care Services – Organ, hereinafter referred to as “organ recovery operations”. This position assesses, plans, develops, and implements educational and/or training programs to maintain and continually improve skills for staff in organ recovery operations. In addition, this position will serve as an Administrator On-Call for organ recovery, assisting MSTF staff with the evaluation of potential organ donors and providing oversight and direction of donor management and organ allocation.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related science or biologic science preferred. Minimum of two years as an Organ Donation Coordinator. Experience as an Administrator On-Call for organ recovery operations at an organ procurement organization. Previous educator, supervisory or preceptor experience preferred.

Work Hours: Traditional office hours and some evening, night and weekend hours required to train and validate employees’ independent work practices; 24 hour on-call shifts are required when serving as Administrator On-Call. This position is in Memphis, TN. The salary range is: $79k to $98k.
