Paralegal

We’re hiring a paralegal to assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, working directly with clients, lenders, and referral partners, and coordinating the flow of real estate files. $45,000 - $50,000 yearly

• Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues

• Ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and coordinate with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to be sure all underwriting commitments have been satisfied.
• Submit pertinent title and loan documents into software programs to record transactions and track the applicant’s progress.
• Track important dates and time limits for transactions and notify relevant stakeholders as needed.
• Deliver concierge-level customer service to sellers, buyers, and lenders, to improve customer satisfaction ratings.
• Compile legal descriptions for deeds.
• Conduct tract searches for real estate parcels and compile reports for attorneys to review.

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
• 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
