Company Description
We’re hiring a Safety and Equipment Supervisor for a Warehouse in Ladson. $30 per hour for this full-time contract to hire position. Weekly pay and strong benefits available.
Safety and Equipment Supervisor Role:
- Develop, implement and manage Health and Safety policies and procedures in the workplace
- Manages equipment repair and coordination of maintenance program activities
- Create, launch and monitor company Safety Programs
- Research and prepare statistics for safety and maintenance program initiatives
- Create trainings for topics such as forklift and driver certifications, workplace conduct, and other safety related topics
- Prepare or provide trainings for Safety related best practices, policies and procedures that are aligned with OSHA and other requirements
Safety and Equipment Supervisor Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Safety Management or related field, and a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Safety Manager or a Health and Safety leadership role
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety legislation required
