Main Responsibilities:
- Technical responsibility for organizing and executing customer jobs
- Analyze test results and provide engineering reports that meet customer specifications
- Responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the test engineering field
- Read and understand test specifications for inertia dynamometer, vehicle, and component bench testing projects
- Monitor tests in progress to ensure they are running to specification
- Act as a liaison with internal Customers with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the test engineering field.
- Calculate inertia, wheel load, and max RPM required for the test
- Use a Windows based computer system to access relevant test procedures and quality system documents, enter measurement data, store, and retrieve files from the network, etc.
- Write and troubleshoot scripts
- Run manual brake applies on a dyno
- Champion production, quality, and safety with countermeasure activities
