YoungLA is a fast-growing Men’s Fitness Lifestyle Clothing brand located in Chatsworth, CA, selling Men’s and Women’s apparel exclusively on www.youngla.com. Established in 2016, the YLA brand continues to grow their customer base through social media and influencer-based marketing. Annual sales continue to exceed projections with continuous YOY growth. YLA is looking for additional talented individuals to join this incredible journey!

The Social Media Marketing Intern will be at the forefront of our brand's digital presence, contributing to the development and implementation of social media strategies that elevate our brand and connect with our audience, specifically focusing on the YoungLA For Her line. You'll have a hands-on role in crafting engaging content, monitoring social channels, and analyzing performance metrics to refine our approach. This role provides an immersive experience in the fast-paced realm of social media marketing, allowing for close collaboration with our team to develop valuable insights and skills in the field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts across various platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, etc.)
• Monitor and engage with our social media audience to enhance brand presence and drive engagement.
• Support the development of visual content, including graphics and videos, to be shared on social media.
• Conduct research on social media trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences.
• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and influencer partnerships.
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics or social media analytics platforms is a plus.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and a passion for social media marketing and the fashion industry

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.

SCHEDULE AND DURATION

Our Social Media Marketing Internship offers a flexible work schedule of 15 - 20 hours per week, allowing you to choose between 3 - 5 workdays. This schedule can include weekends if needed, providing you with the opportunity to balance your work commitments with other responsibilities. The duration of the internship can be up to 6 months, giving you ample time to immerse yourself in our dynamic team and industry.
