Onsite AV Technician - Freelance

We are looking for freelance A/V Technicians to work Wall Street investor conferences On-Site at various event spaces. Knowledge of video, audio, and troubleshooting required. All equipment is provided. Pay is $30 an hour with paid travel expenses and food per-diem.

Skills

• Working knowledge of audio consoles, microphones, audio/visual hardware, signal flow

• Experience with pipe and drape, lighting, and projectors/screens

• White-Glove Service

• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

• Client-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Understand A/V signal flow and troubleshooting

• Ability to create a clean, professional presentation of our equipment

• Ability to research and develop new skills

• Be pleasant and energetic early in the morning

• Ability to interact with clients face to face

• Navigate service hallways and freight elevators at high-end hotel and event venues

• Able to travel to midtown Manhattan by 6 AM or earlier

• Able to travel out of state via airplane or provided transportation.

• Report client feedback and potential product requests

• Unpack/setup/test/run/break down of  audio visual equipment

• Lift 50+lbs

• 100% onsite (Locations Nationwide)

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $30.00 per hour. Paid travel expenses and expense reimbursement.
